  1. Prepare 1 cup of or less (7 oz) milk.
  2. You need 1 of egg.
  3. You need of Sugar to taste (1/2 tablespoon).
  4. Prepare 4 pieces of white bread (or any that you like).

  1. Mix milk with egg and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Dip bread into the milk. If you want toasts to be extra soft, leave bread in milk for a couple of minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet/frying pan over low heat. If you want toasts to turn extra brown and a bit crispy, coat with cooking spray or olive oil.
  4. Take out bread from milk and put onto the pan and cook on each side for approx. 2.5 minutes until browned (depends on the slices thickness). Flip with a spatula to avoid burns or scratching the surface of the pan.
  5. Dust toasts with powdered sugar.
